Our Fees (effective 1st July 2024)

The Independent Medical Practitioners working at Mackie Road Clinic generally choose to charge the same fees for the same appointment types. Indicative fees for standard consultations are provided below. We operate a private billing clinic and fees are payable at the time of consultation. Consultation fees are charged according to various factors, including consult length, medical complexity and Medicare legislation. If payment is not made on the day of your consult, an additional administrative fee of $15 will apply.

The indicative fees below are valid at the 1st July 2024. Please call us to obtain the most current and specific to your circumstances information on our fees. There are two schedules of fees in operation at Mackie Rd Clinic: standard GP consultations and specialised consultations provided by GPs, specialists and allied health practitioners.

Specialised Consultations include but not limited to travel health, iron infusion, skin cancer checks, procedures (biopsy, excisions, Mirena/Implanon), Integrative Medicine, Shared Care and podiatry. See the table below for a quick reference. You will be advised of specialty service fees at the time of booking, alternatively, you can request details on these from Reception. Specialist services are fully private and are not discounted regardless of age or pension/health care card status.
