Commencing 1 October 2020, all telehealth consultations (video & phone) are charged in accordance with our standard fee schedule. This means that if you book a telehealth consultation with us, you will have to pay the full consultation fee after the consultation and Medicare rebates will be processed as per your individual arrangement. In simple terms, we apply the same billing practices to telehealth consultations as to the face-to-face consultations.
Please note that a face-to face consultation may be still required after the telehealth consultation as not every query can be resolved via telehealth consultation.
