Dr Benjamin TangMBBS, FACRRM, Adv DRANZCOG Meet Dr. Benjamin Tang, a Malaysian-born GP Obstetrician committed to providing exceptional care. After completing his MBBS at Monash University in 2014, Dr Tang gained invaluable experience working in the Mornington Peninsula and Gippsland areas. With an Advanced Diploma of Obstetrics (Adv DRANZCOG), Ben provides comprehensive shared antenatal care alongside Monash Health. He’s been supporting families throughout pregnancy since 2019 in West Gippsland and brings this wealth of experience to Mackie Road. Understanding that pregnancy can be complex, he’s dedicated to providing quality best-practice care, both during and beyond pregnancy. He extends his care to children, holding a Diploma of Children’s Health, and also offers a range of contraceptive options, including subcutaneous implants (Implanon) and intrauterine devices (Mirena). Beyond obstetrics, Ben has a deep interest in skin cancer medicine and is a member of the Australasian College of Cutaneous Oncology (ACCO). He conducts thorough full-body skin checks, utilizing Dermoscopy and clinical photography, always offering an open and informative approach, providing a variety of options for lesion removal. When he’s not caring for his patients, Ben loves spending quality time with his family and enjoying road cycling. He consults at Mackie Road Clinic on Mondays and Fridays, with early morning appointments available from 8:30am on Mondays and consultations running until 6:00pm on Fridays.
